How has this library supported healthy living?
We’re doing our 2nd annual “Winter Walk Day” on Wednesday, February 2nd. Our library decided to do it based on Shape Alberta’s Winter Walk Day. After registering our community we used their graphics for marketing. Last year we didn’t have lots of participation due to it being the 1st year and gloomy weather locally. This year we’re hoping to have increased awareness & participation.

What impacts have you seen this work have?
It is hard to track who participated other than how many people claimed their “I participated” stickers – see image on right. To create the stickers, we took the logo by Shape Alberta and added 2022 in a similar font/style and of course the bottom section.
